Description

Reporting to the Manager, Cash Management, this position provides assistance in the development and implementation of cash management program for the ATCO Group of companies.  Working with the ATCO Corporate Office and the Principal Operating Subsidiaries, the successful candidate will aid in determining the efficient use of treasury assets and ensure critical financing obligations are met.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure data integrity of the Cash Management Software through administration of Bank information
  • Complete all Treasury and Inter-company Cash Settlements
  • Forecast and analyze short term cash balances for ATCO Ltd. and Canadian Utilities Limited
  • Create and prepare ad-hoc reports in a timely manner
  • Establish a working relationship with other departments within ATCO Group and the Principal Operating Subsidiaries
  • Ongoing assessment of economic factors affecting the public markets and ATCO Group of companies in particular as well as assisting in the preparation of our annual Credit Rating material
Qualifications
  • Finance and/or professional accounting designation supported by a commerce, economic or mathematics undergraduate degree
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Oracle applications experience are assets
  • The successful candidate will have above average interpersonal skills and well-developed communication skills enabling them to work effectively with all levels and areas of the organization.  Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities enable this person to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a time sensitive work environment.
