Description

We have an opportunity available in our Output Management area. In the Output Management Analyst role, you will coordinate, operate and monitor computer equipment, specifically mainframe attached high-speed continuous form and page printers, as well as inserting equipment.  You will be required to work on rotational shifts.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, operate and monitor the printing and inserting equipment to ensure the equipment is functioning at maximum efficiency; load and maintain equipment consumables; check and maintain a proper inventory of supplies; perform regular cleaning of all print and inserting equipment.
  • Monitor and manage the print queues and maximize throughput; manage mainframe printer connectivity and prepare the printers for maintenance. 
  • Ensure quality control of output.
  • Provide Customer Service Delivery Excellence.
  • Diagnose and provide resolution with problem or equipment failure.
  • Coach and mentor junior staff.
  • Maintain a current, in-depth working knowledge of relevant systems and equipment.
Qualifications
  • One to two years related experience working in a printing/inserting production environment and/or post secondary education in computing science.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the setup, configuration, operation and maintenance of printing and inserting equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer processing principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to recognize opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Superior communication skills coupled with customer focus.
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver results under pressure.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
