Description
Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Carbondale Gas Plant
Responsibilities
- Maintain close surveillance of all operating conditions to maximize plant efficiency.
- Take immediate and decisive actions through emergencies, plant shutdowns, equipment failures and plant process deviations.
- Provide support in maintaining and repairing plant equipment.
- Review plant availability on a daily basis.
- Provide on-call support to respond to plant disruptions.
- Ensure a high standard of safety by following Safe Operating Procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 - 3 years of related experience in the oil and gas industry. Completion of a technical diploma or Power Engineer certification is preferred.
- Amine, Compression and process experience working in a Sour Gas facility is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Class 5 Drivers license with a good driving record.

- Note: The successful candidate must be willing to re-locate to within 30 minutes of the plant which is located 6 km North of St. Albert, Alberta, Canada.
